It is my hope that through these stories you can learn a lesson or two about life in general, or just get a laugh or two out of them. The stories here are set in different places I have lived in my life, and they are all true. Now this in itself makes me no one special, nor better than anyone else. By living them I have learned many things about life and how to treat others with respect and dignity. I also learned the hardheaded way about right and wrong. There, in these many good memory places, I gained knowledge and insight on the ups and downs of life. I gained certain values that marked so deeply upon my heart that I hold onto; others are best discarded. I learned the value of true character and honesty--again the hardheaded trial and error way that I seemed to be trapped in. I know one thing, if anything: throughout my childhood years--no matter where I was or what mischief I was into--the Lord's mighty hand was on me. I am thankful for this because there were times that if His hand had not been on me providing protection, I wouldn't have been here to tell you about these crazy happenings in my life. You be the judge. Read for yourself these stories. Maybe in some way they mirror your life and experiences. There are two places that have a permanent special place in my heart. The first is the countryside out near Pine Bluff, Arkansas, just off Sulpher Springs Road. Even though this place is all grown up now, in the past there were few neighbors and a whole lot of beautiful woods that beckoned a young mind to come explore. The other place that will be in my heart always has to be the small town of Clinton, Oklahoma, where I later went to school. I had many friends there that were willing participants in most of my wild schemes.
